OEKO-TEX® is one of the world’s most authoritative ecological safety certification systems for the textile and leather industries. Established by the International Association for Ecologically Safe Textiles and Leather, it ensures that products comply with strict hazardous substance limits and sustainability requirements throughout their entire lifecycle – from raw materials to finished goods. Seetextile® has obtained, or can provide, the following OEKO-TEX® certification: STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. STANDARD 100 is a globally recognized testing and certification system for harmful substances in textiles. It applies to textile raw materials, semi-finished products, finished goods, and accessories at all processing stages. The testing covers more than 1,000 substances, including banned azo dyes, formaldehyde, heavy metals, pesticides, perfluorinated compounds, and other harmful chemicals. The standard is updated annually based on the latest scientific research. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a globally recognized processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers, incorporating both ecological and social responsibility certification systems. It is implemented by independent third‑party certification across the entire supply chain. The standard requires at least 70% certified organic natural fibers, with at least 95% required for the “organic” labeling grade. Certification covers the entire process from reception of organic raw materials, processing and manufacturing, to trade and distribution, including fibers, yarns, fabrics, garments, and home textiles. The environmental criteria set strict requirements for chemical inputs, wastewater treatment, and energy efficiency. The social responsibility criteria are based on the core conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), prohibiting forced labor and child labor, and ensuring workers’ health, dignity, and fair working conditions. Through independent third‑party annual on‑site audits, supply chain traceability and product reliability are ensured.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international certification standard for products made from recycled materials, developed by Textile Exchange. The standard comprehensively regulates recycled material content, supply chain traceability, environmental responsibility, social criteria, and chemical restrictions. GRS requires a minimum of 20% recycled content for certification; when claiming “contains X% recycled content,” the percentage must be specified. For claims such as “made from recycled materials,” the content must be at least 50%. Certification covers the entire supply chain from recyclers, processors, to traders, through independent third‑party on‑site audits. Environmental criteria include wastewater treatment, energy management, and responsible use of chemicals. Social criteria are based on the core conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO) to safeguard workers’ rights. UV STANDARD 801 is one of the most authoritative ultraviolet protection certification standards for textiles and shading materials. It was jointly developed by Hohenstein, TESTEX and OETI in 1998. The most distinctive feature of this standard is that testing is based on the most demanding real‑world usage scenario – the “worst‑case scenario.” Unlike other standards that only test new, dry products, UV STANDARD 801 takes into account factors such as stretching, wetting (with sweat or seawater), washing abrasion, and aging during use. Testing uses the highest intensity solar spectrum of a Melbourne summer and presumes the most sensitive skin type. Both new and simulated‑use products must pass the requirements. UV STANDARD 801 can determine Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) levels ranging from 10 to 80. Products that pass certification are authorized to use the independent UV STANDARD 801 label. The standard applies to swimwear, activewear, sun‑protective clothing, and various shading textiles. It is a rigorous credential demonstrating to consumers that a product provides reliable UV protection throughout its entire lifecycle.
